Taco Bell Athletes of the Week

High school football in The 209 and an education, it’s a great combination.
That’s the message that Taco Bell is promoting, with Black Hat Football, as we prepare for the 2016 season. We’ll select 3 Taco Bell Athletes of the Week each Monday during the football season, through the Sac-Joaquin Section Section playoffs, and each earns a $20 gift card for tasty treats and a Taco Bell Athlete of the Week patch.

WR JAIROL HARRIS-RED, DOWNEY KNIGHTS
The 6-foot-2, 175-pounder skipped his junior football season to focus on basketball, but returned to the field for his senior year. It’s been a great return, and Friday night he caught 8 passes for 199 yards and 3 TDs in a 40-28 win over Beyer. The Patriots (6-0, 3-0) are five-time defending Modesto Metro Conference champions.
Red has 30 catches and 8 TDs, and is averaging 20 yards per catch.
